As the crisp cool air floats around, while the early morning rays shine on. From happy brides, champagne breakfasts and girly giggles as the glam squad gets to work. From nervous grooms, stories from the stag do are shared and a pint to settle the nerves.

The venue is filled with excited family eager to catch a glimpse of the bride. The ceremony flies over, the couple has their first kiss and everyone heads outside. The group shots are taken, introductions over- it is time to celebrate! From entering the reception; the personal touches, unique ideas and magic are revealed.

The couple is whisked away for a moment on their own for photographs together, they take a big breath and relive what has already happened. Guests greet the bride & groom back to the room and speeches are delivered. Laughter, tears and smiles are shared when everyone tucks into dinner.

The evening gets started the cake is cut and the first dance is ready to start. The band is playing, everyone is watching and the drinks and dancing continued into the night.  I believe in those moments; from the special moments, the carefully planned moments and the ‘whatever happens on the day’ moments.

“‘We’ve been looking through your stunning photos yet again! We’ve been through them so many times with so many people – everyone loves them so much! You’re a complete genius!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
I’m based in Saxmundham, a small town within Suffolk. I don’t stop here though, for weddings I mainly find myself within Suffolk & Bedfordshire but I can travel the UK to capture your day.

Do you shoot videos as well?
I don’t – videography is a speciality in itself.

Can we get Raw files or unedited photos?
RAW files are unedited images and therefore do not have the finish of my signature style that you hire me for. I’ve dedicated a lot of hard work and time creating the H&H style and love to share that with my couples.

Is it just you?
I mainly work solo, but give my couples the option to add on a second shooter to help me capture the day. All my second shooters are photographers themselves, so you are in safe hands.

We’re not very photogenic is this ok?
Of course! We will really get to know each other throughout the process allowing you feel comfortable. Leave it up to me to make you feel at ease in front of the camera. Throughout the day I will take the lead and pose you in the best places for flattering lighting but work to capture natural expressions. Other times you won’t notice I am there. Engagement sessions are perfect for a little practice.

How far in advance do we need to book?
As soon as you have your wedding date booked I would love to hear from you. Couples usually book around a year – to a year and a half ahead of their wedding date.

How do we book you?
Simply fill in my contact form and I will reply with all the details. I require a £200 ‘save the date’ fee which confirms your booking. The rest of the amount is then due one month before the big day, in which you can pay all in one go or spread the cost up until that date.
